Key member of SE Software marketing team for Japan Market & sits in regional marketing team. Responsible for working with Sales team In-Country & extended marketing teams to:
•Act as an advisor to the In-country Business teams on Industry Trends & Market Intelligence
•Lead in creating and executing Demand Generation marketing plan to achieve short & long term business objectives of SE Software Direct & Channel business
•Proactively drive pipeline generation through in-country key marketing initiatives
•Be responsible for measuring overall success of implemented programs in-country
•Be responsible for local marketing contacts database
•Manage In-country integrated marketing calendar and allocated budget.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Develop and implement marketing plan for In-Country prioritized Industries within SE business. Marketing Plan to include key initiatives & 360 integrated marketing campaigns on awareness and demand generation and pipeline acceleration- both online & offline elements
•Develop & implement B2B digital/web & social media campaigns that include SEO, SEM, Paid Social, webinars, podcasts that drive engagement and generate demand
•Analyse and report on the performance of digital & social marketing programs
•Track lead flow and opportunity validation to ensure sales follow up with post-campaign/event activities in a timely manner
•Work with regional marketing team to drive campaign analysis and reporting to understand the ROI of these programs and campaigns for optimization and continuous improvement of marketing efforts
•Work with regional marketing team to drive local requirement for Installed base vs. Net New Names vs. Nurture Names marketing programs
•Drive Accounts Based Marketing with local & region sales/marketing leadership
•Manage and coordinate co-marketing activities with channel partners, including in-country channel marketing plans, campaign development, funds allocation (tracking of MDF usage), execution and tracking of results
•Act as a strong local market advisor to the sales organization for strategic initiatives & marketing programs.
•Communicate program status, action items, and deliverables across In-country Sales teams
•Drive localization requirements in campaigns, assets or offers with regional marketing team
•Work with extended in-country SE Marketing teams & regional marketing team to build local & execute a AR/PR/Influencers plan that best reaches target analysts/media/influencers, communicates successes, capabilities and positions SE software in the local market. Influencers to include User Groups & Industry Trade Associations & Academic bodies
•Proactively identify local market trends and needs as well as creating opportunities for market leadership.
•Other duties as assigned
At least 8-9 years of experience in technology marketing for software/tech/ industrial markets
•Bachelor required, MBA preferred
•Field Marketing with a software company
•Knowledge of industrial software markets preferred, though not mandatory
•Experience working with multidiscipline marketing & sales teams
•Able to work in an ambiguous environment
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese & English
•High level of Creativity
•Proven expertise & knowledge in B2B online marketing (Digital & Social) including paid digital, social, search.
•Channel marketing knowledge / expertise
•Ability to work with personnel across disciplines, organizational levels and cultures.
•Self-motivated go getter, requiring minimum supervision
•Understands the dynamics of the sales function and how this is a critical enabler for marketing success
